‘LOTR’ Star Wrestles Dangerous Snake
On Thursday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Dominic Monaghan came by to talk about his show Wild Things, in which he plays with dangerous animals in exotic places. Jimmy showed a clip of Dominic playing with a snake that tried to bite both him and the camera, then asked Dominic what was the most dangerous animal he’d encountered. Dominic replied, “Probably the black mamba. It’s smart, it’s athletic, super-venomous.” Dominic may feel comfortable around these animals because he has many critters at home, including snakes, tarantulas, praying mantises, scorpions, centipedes, and even 30,000 bees, from which he plans going to harvest “Hobbit Honey.” But Dominic doesn’t just play with creepy crawlers on land; he also swam with the largest fish in the world. He claims it offered him its dorsal fin so he could grab it and ride. Being someone who spends that much time with wild animals, he’s probably right.
