Los Angeles Duo Courtship Return With Blissful New Single ‘Love For Everyone’: Exclusive Premiere

L.A. duo Courtship — comprised of Eli Hirsch and Micah Gordon — first arrived earlier this year with their debut single “Stop For Nothing,” a disco-tinged, euphoric indie pop gem that has accumulated over 1 million streams on Spotify to date. And their instant buzz was no accident, as they had first found success in the industry as songwriters, with Eli penning tracks with the likes of DREAMERS and Ethan Burns, and Micah writing with Tobias Jesso Jr.

Today, the group fires back with the follow-up single “Love For Everyone,” premiering exclusively via Billboard.

The blissful tune is the sonic equivalent to a sunshine-soaked ride down the Pacific Coast Highway, a full-on anthem for self-acceptance and tolerance that echoes the repeated mantra “let go / love for everyone.”

“Not trying to sound preachy, but we were just thinking about how no matter who you are, everyone has felt self conscious or anxious at a party. Like they don’t know how to be themselves,” they tell Billboard. “So we wrote a song about an imaginary party where no one is left out and everyone feels super free to be and do whatever they want. ‘Just follow but don’t speak. Real fun comes in 3, I know just what you need…’ We will let the people decide how to interpret the song.”
