Lori Loughlin's Daughters Returned To Social Media To Wish Mom A Happy Birthday

Both girls had been silent on social media since the college admission scandal broke.

A Major Media Scandal

In March, dozens of wealthy parents, including actresses Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman, found themselves entangled in a college admission scandal where they attempted to bribe their children into elite universities.

Breaking Their Silence

Since the scandal broke, Loughlin's daughters Bella and Olivia Jade Giannulli went dark on social media. Olivia Jade especially was seen as an Instagram influencer, so it was a stark change for both girls. However, they ended their silence to celebrate Loughlin's birthday.

Bella posted a glamorous picture of her mother with the simple caption "happy birthday mama. I love you ❤️."

Wishing Their Mom Happy Birthday

Olivia Jade went the sentimental route with a picture of herself as a baby with her mother. She captioned it "one day late. happy birthday. i love you so much ❤️."

At this point, the girls have not been drawn into the legal battle and it is unknown whether or not they knew about the alleged actions that they parents took to get them into USC.

Ongoing Drama

The legal drama is far from over for Loughlin. She and her husband Mossimo Giannulli plead not guilty and rejected the initial plea deal because it included jail time. According to court documents, they "agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC."

They will appear in court again on August 27 and potentially face at least 20 years in prison.
