In the immediate aftermath of the college admissions scandal, Lori Loughlin’s daughters were subject to a great deal of scrutiny — after which, they understandably took a step back from social media. Recently, Lori Loughlin’s daughters Olivia Jade and Bella returned to Instagram to wish their mother a happy birthday and make it clear that they’ll be sticking by their mother’s side. Loughlin has pled “not guilty” for all charges in connection with the college admissions scandal.
When the scandal broke earlier this year, Olivia Jade had been successfully monetizing her Instagram presence — but news of her parents’ involvement in the scandal led to many key partners dropping out, including Sephora and Estée Lauder. She ultimately stopped posting on Instagram altogether, while her sister Isabella (known as Bella) deactivated her account. Both sisters returned to the social media platform with posts celebrating mom Loughlin’s birthday.

Bella’s post is a black-and-white photo of her with her mother, simply captioned: “happy birthday mama. I love you.” Olivia Jade went for a throwback pic featuring young Loughlin holding her daughter as a baby. She captioned the post: “one day late. happy birthday. i love you so much.” Both daughters topped off their captions with a heart emoji.

After pleading not guilty back in April, it’s unclear what the future holds for Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli. While news outlets have repeatedly claimed the Full House star is facing 40 years in prison, Loughlin herself is reportedly optimistic. A trial date has not yet been set.
