Lori Loughlin's daughter Olivia Jade reportedly spotted in Instagram video amid college admissions scandal

Olivia Jade Giannulli has kept a low-profile since her parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, were charged with scheming to get their daughters into the University of Southern California, as part of the widespread college admissions scandal. Even though her Instagram account is still active, unlike her older sister Isabella who deleted hers, Olivia Jade hasn’t posted to it since February.

She reportedly resurfaced on social media Thursday night in the Instagram Stories of YouTube star Heath Hussar. According to TMZ, the video was taken at a party Olivia Jade attended at the home of YouTuber David Dobrik in Studio City, Calif., where she had asked people not to use their phones.

Olivia Jade was only in the frame for a moment. She’s seen talking with someone in the background and flashing a quick smile to the camera, as a guy dances on a countertop.

Since news of Operation Varsity Blues broke, Olivia Jade has reportedly stopped attending classes at USC. University officials said last month that holds would be placed on the accounts of students who “may be associated with the alleged admissions scheme,” so the students’ could not withdraw, register for classes or receive transcripts while their cases are being reviewed.

She’s had a happy development in her career, however. Her application to trademark the name “Olivia Jade” was approved by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on April 2, after being denied earlier because of punctuation issues on the application.

Earlier this week, Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded not guilty to charges of mail fraud and money laundering conspiracy. Olivia Jade’s parents face up to 40 years in prison each.
