Lori Loughlin and Husband Hit With New Charge In College Bribery Scandal, Facing Decades Behind Bars
Lori Loughlin and her husband fashion mogul Mossimo Giannulli have just been hit additional charges for their involvement in the college bribery scandal, and the couple is now facing a decade behind bars.
According to federal prosecutors in Massachusetts, a grand jury has returned additional charges against "11 of the 15 parents charged in the college admissions case".

The New Charge
The new charges include "conspiring to commit federal program bribery" and arose from the "bribing employees of the University of Southern California (USC) to facilitate their children’s admission. In exchange for the bribes, employees of the university allegedly designated the defendants’ children as athletic recruits – with little or no regard for their athletic abilities – or as members of other favored admissions categories."
Decades Behind Bars
The charges will add significant time to the possible sentence the judge in their case can hand down if they are convicted.
According to prosecutors, the couple faces at least 5 more years behind bars if convicted of this charge.
The couple is already facing multiple years in federal prison for each of the other 10 counts.
The Scandal
Lori and Mossimo were arrested in March 2019, after being charged for conspiring with the alleged mastermind, William “Rick” Singer and others, to "bribe SAT and ACT exam administrators to allow a test taker to secretly take college entrance exams in place of their children, or to correct the children’s answers after they had taken the exams."
Huffman's Locked Up
Felicity Huffman decided to take a plea deal in the case and is currently serving a 14-day sentence inside a California Federal prison.
