Lori Harvey Puts a Modern Spin on the ”Church Girl” Bob Haircut

This month, Lori Harvey has served as major hair inspiration during the fashion season. The model has shied away from her usual polished and clean looks, giving us baby braids during New York Fashion Week and Bantu knots at London Fashion Week. For Paris Fashion Week, our girl of the moment brought it back, way back with a nostalgic "tight" cheekbone-framing bob.

Harvey debuted the blunt bob chop at the Valentino Womenswear Spring/Summer 2023 show. Known for her usual chin or neck length cuts, this is the shortest we've ever seen the star. What's significant here is that her hairstylist Ricky Mota opted to bump the ends of the bob in, which notoriously has a bad rep. Mota captioned the post "Stiff where?" Clearly we can see fullness and movement here, giving a sleek rest to those "church girl" ends.

Bobs in general are hair staples for the cooler months. They exude a confidence that can only be found in this hairstyle, no matter the texture or the style. For more inspo, see more of Harvey's chic style edit below.
