Lorde invited her friend and Melodrama collaborator Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff onstage during her set Sunday (Aug. 13) at San Francisco’s Outside Lands Festival to perform a stripped-down cover of Paul Simon‘s beloved “Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard.”

Sitting together on the edge of the stage, Lorde swayed and sang while Antonoff strummed the guitar. It was a charmingly ramshackle rendition as Lorde held out the mic for Antonoff to first sing a few lyrics before laughingly fumbling the middle of the verse. Later, Antonoff ended the song by substituting “me and Ella in Golden Gate Park” in place of the song’s chorus, referencing to Lorde’s real name and the festival’s location — a finishing touch that visibly delighted the singer.
