LoonBird Cafe songwriter event set for May 8

Apr. 30—BEMIDJI — The LoonBird Cafe will begin its second year at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 with a songwriter event at Table for 7 in downtown Bemidji.

Organizer Mary Overlie began the project in 2023, featuring local and regional songwriters and food and drink from Table for 7. The May 8 performers will be Teddy Arunski, Debbie Center, Lisa Mattson and Grant Raddatz. They will take turns sharing stories about their songs and performing them.
