No matter the reason, Sheboygan has a variety of riverfront venues to drink and dine — from spots to grab a quick treat, share a casual meal with friends or celebrate over fine dining.
Here are some waterfront destinations along the Sheboygan River to check out this summer.
Parker John’s BBQ & Pizza
The American cuisine restaurant offers a variety of meat-based dishes, like barbecued pulled pork and wings, to satisfy the casual or avid meat lover.
Food: An extensive menu, including barbecue, sandwiches, pizza and meat platters
Drinks: Offerings include signature cocktails and mocktails, draft beer and notably Loaded Bloody Mary's with combinations of meat (like chicken wings and even a pulled pork sandwich) skewered on top

Weather Center Cafe
Grab a drink or snack at the café while enjoying the ambience of life on the water with boat dock décor and pier seating.
Menu: Menu offers various coffee and non-coffee drinks, smoothies and bakery items. Food items, like burritos and sandwiches, have several vegetarian considerations, too.

Harry’s Prohibition Bistro
Grab a pie to share (or enjoy for one) at the 1920s-styled Neapolitan pizzeria that was born out of building a backyard wood-fired oven.
Food: Wood-fired pizzas and several pastas
Drinks: Large wine menu, along with draft beer, cocktails, whiskey and bourbon

New Life Riverfront Cafe
Recently reopened after overcoming financial challenges, the Christian coffeehouse and café offers a variety of drinks, bakery treats and lunch items.
Menu: Offerings include coffees, smoothie, sandwiches, and soups and salads

Driftwood
In the former Anglers Avenue spot, Driftwood offers casual dining, brunch and elevated entrees, like salmon and flatiron steak.
Food: Menus feature brunch items, soups and starters, and handhelds like mahi tacos and the Driftwood Smash Burger
Drinks: Variety of cocktails, wine, on-tap and craft beer, and non-alcoholic beer

South Pier Parlor

The shop is a new addition to the South Pier businesses and coffee spots in the city. The broad menu includes coffee drinks, teas, refreshers and smoothies.
Menu: Options include breakfast dishes, soups, sweets and the “croffle,” a cross between a croissant and Belgian waffle.

Moving west along the Sheboygan River, Pacifico offers not only Mexican cuisine, like fajitas and enchiladas, but also a large patio with beachy decor.
