Old Iron Power Show and Fall Festival in Noble County

Head to the Noble County Fairgrounds at 8 a.m. this Saturday and Sunday for a fun-filled weekend. The Old Iron Power Club’s 15th Annual Antique Power Show and the Appalachian Foothills Fall Festival preserves the past by displaying antique hit-and-miss engines, tractors and working equipment with daily demonstrations. Crafts, a flea market, a 50/50 raffle and farm toys will all be a part of the two-day show. Various food vendors will be on-site, including chicken barbecue meals by Dana Hill, Uncle Dan’s Homemade Ice Cream, Taste of the Ole West, and more.

Added attractions this year include a kids pedal tractor pull, petting zoo and free face and pumpkin painting. Live music will include Laura Cramblet, Shortline Junction, Five Spot and Pickn' On Country. A parade on the showground will be held both days at noon. This is a free, family-friendly event. Beallsville fall truck pull

Make the scenic drive to Beallsville for a weekend of fun. The Southeastern Ohio Pulling Series pull is set to begin at 5 p.m. Saturday. Watch trucks pull weight to see who can go the furthest. Gate admission is $10, and there is a $25 hook fee. There are 10 classes that are scheduled to run, including stock, mod, cheater and pro stock gas trucks, diesel trucks, and hot farm tractors among others. See giants at the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival

Barnesville Pumpkin Festival. Tucked away in the hills of Southeastern Ohio is one of the best fall festivals around. The Barnesville Pumpkin Festival brings all things pumpkin to the area. Carnival rides, food and craft vendors and more await you at this three-day event. Two stages will provide live entertainment and a Giant Pumpkin Parade will be held Saturday morning. The festival kicks off on Wednesday evening with the giant pumpkin weigh-in to determine the 2023 King Pumpkin. Admission is free. Brewing up a good time in Columbus

Make your way to the capital city and try some java at the Columbus Coffee Festival. The eighth annual event takes place Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 23 and 24, at Ohio Village. Visitors can sample coffee from various Ohio roasters and more. There are two sessions to attend, and tickets vary by time and range from $20 to $75. Tickets can be purchased at www.eventbrite.com. Annual Fly-In and Car Show

Head to the Zanesville Municipal Airport for the 23rd annual Fly-in and Car Show. Featuring the Grimes Flying Laboratory this year, the event is chock full of things to do on Friday, Sept. 23. Grab some breakfast or lunch, peruse the model engines or get a bird's eye view of the Y Bridge during a helicopter or open cockpit airplane ride. Live entertainment will be by the Dancin' Divas and the Schubach Big Band. Admission to the event is by donation.
