Looking to make a last-minute Christmas dinner reservation? Here's where to start.
Christmas dinner. Not quite as iconic as Thanksgiving dinner but still a holiday staple.
If you've had a change of plans or decided last minute that you're not cooking this Christmas, the options for snagging a reservation are slim, but not hopeless.
We've given a few suggestions for places to dine out on Christmas and Christmas Eve based on what we could find last minute. Tables are going fast, so be sure to make a reservation while you still can. If you're looking to have a family dinner at home, but don't want to do the cooking, there are some suggestions for where to get a Christmas dinner to go as well.

Villaggio, 4631 Falmouth Road in Cotuit
Wicked, 35 South St. in Mashpee
This Christmas, enjoy delicious Italian fare with Chef Jay Bartolomei and company at Villaggio in Cotuit.
“We always do really well,” he said. “We always get nailed.”
As one of the few restaurants open on Christmas, Bartolomei says he’s used to seeing a lot of customers, with 200 people already on the books. He still has a couple of tables open around 6:30 p.m. on Christmas and the bar is always open.
“The good news is that my bar's open too,” he said. “So, I always have seats at the bar.”
Reservations for Villaggio can be made online at www.villaggiocapecod.com/ or by calling 508-428-0000. Villaggio will be open from 2 to 10 p.m. on Christmas. Villaggio is located at 4631 Falmouth Road in Cotuit.
Wicked, one of Bartolomei’s other restaurants, is open on Christmas Eve. Serving up more casual Italian fare with an American twist, Wicked is a good option for a more laid-back Christmas Eve dinner. Wicked is open from 4 to 10 p.m. and is located at 35 South St. in Mashpee.
Bettini, 131 North Water St. in Edgartown
Spend Christmas weekend with Bettini at the Harbor View Hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served at The Clubhouse at Bettini from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Bettini’s restaurant will be hosting dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, featuring their winter menu, with festive menu items and cocktails.

The Pheasant, 905 Route 6A in Dennis
The Pheasant in Dennis is open for dinner on Christmas Eve. Enjoy selections from their winter a la carte menu in the quaint and homey Red Barn.
Plus, The Pheasant's wine store, Dunn & Sons, is also open on Christmas Eve and will host a wine tasting from noon to 4 p.m. on Dec. 23 in case you need to pick up a bottle or two for your festivities.
Reservations for Christmas Eve dinner can be made online at www.pheasantcapecod.com/. The Pheasant is located at 905 Route 6A in Dennis. Dinner service begins at 5 p.m.
Red’s at Sea Crest, 50 Quaker Road in North Falmouth
Red's Restaurant and Lounge at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel is open for Christmas and Christmas Eve, according to their Open Table. No mention of any specific Christmas menu is outlined on their website, but they do have a few tables open for dinner on both evenings.
Their menu is standard American fare, featuring a selection of seafood dishes, pizzas, salads, sandwiches and entrees. For reservations, visit www.seacrestbeachhotel.com/dining/reds or call 508-540-9400.
The Sea Crest Beach Hotel is located at 350 Quaker Road in North Falmouth.
Cuvée, 359 Main St. in Chatham
On Christmas Eve, Cuvée at Chatham Inn is hosting a Christmas-tasting menu prepared by Chef Isaac Olivo and his team. Dinner is $195 per person and consists of five courses.

Consider getting Christmas dinner to go
Casual Gourmet, 31 Richardson Road in Centerville
The Casual Gourmet is helping families who don't want to cook this Christmas with Christmas dinners to go. Create your perfect Christmas dinner from their selection of entreés, sides and desserts, and the Casual Gourmet will make it for you to pick up on Christmas Eve, heat and serve on Christmas Day.
Plus, if you're working on Christmas Day and unfortunately have to miss the festivities, individual dinners ($26.96 and $29.95) are available for order as well.

Dan'l Webster Inn, 149 Main St. Sandwich
The Dan’l Webster Inn is making Christmas dinners to go this holiday season. For $34.95 per person, enjoy a roast turkey dinner with clam chowder, cranberry sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes and more. Each dinner is prepared by the Dan'l Webster Inn's chefs. They just need to be heated before serving.
Orders for to-go dinners must be submitted by 3 p.m. on Thursday at order.toasttab.com/online/dan-l-webster-inn-spa/ or by calling 508-888-3622. Pick-up is on Christmas Eve from 9 a.m. to noon.
The inn is located at 149 Main St. in Sandwich.
Dennis Public Market, 653 Main St./Route 6A in Dennis Village
The Dennis Public Market is offering a Christmas dinner to go. Choose from a selection of appetizers, including scallops and bacon ($39.95 for 15), dinner items, such as a roasted turkey breast ($49.95 for 3 pounds) and a baked ham ($39.95 for 3 pounds) and sides and desserts like a classic Yule Log ($51.95, serves up to 14 people.)
Orders must be placed by 3 p.m. on Tuesday. and picked up on Dec. 23 or 24. To place a Christmas dinner order, call 508-385-3215.
