INDIAN RIVER COUNTY

Summer Splash

  • 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday

  • LaPorte Farms, 7700 129th St., Sebastian

  • Enjoy a waterslide, slip-n-slides, bubbles, pony rides, critters, train rides, a sandbox, kiddie pools, hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill and ice-cold watermelon.

  • $5 donation

Celebration of Freedom: A Patriotic Concert

  • 7 p.m. Sunday

  • St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 7550 26th St., Vero Beach

  • The concert features the Paradise Women’s Chorale, the St. John’s Adult Choir and Brass Ensemble and the Vero Beach Pipe and Drum Band. Proceeds benefit the Gold Star Mothers of Indian River County and the future WWII Memorial to be built on Memorial Island in Vero Beach.

ST. LUCIE COUNTY

Stars & Stripes on 2nd Street

  • 4 p.m. Saturday

  • Sailfish Brewing Company, 130 N. Second St., Fort Pierce

  • The event includes live music, craft beer, street games, an outside bar and a bounce house for the kids. Whiskey Trip Band will be on stage at 7 p.m.

‘80s Night

  • 6-9 p.m. Friday

  • Gazebo at Tradition, 10597 S.W. Meeting St., Port St. Lucie

  • Go back to the 1980s with a synth-pop-rock tribute band, Chemistry, neon lights and dancing, as well as Boxer Bros, OMG Food Truck and Bonner Bar on site with food and beverages for sale. Weather permitting.

Independence Day Celebration & Heritage Festival

  • 4-10 p.m. Saturday, fireworks at 9 p.m.
