The fall season is here and while you won’t be rejoicing in a dramatic change in foliage, there are a lot of ways to welcome the change of season in South Florida. This is the when we get to venture outside without threat of heatstroke and enjoy festivals, greenmarkets and concerts. This weekend promises live music at Old School Square in Delray Beach, pirates in Boynton Beach, yoga at Grandview Public Market, moonrise paddleboarding and more. Here are several fantastic options and even more great things to do in Palm Beach County.

In addition to the top five events listed there's always something great happening at places like The Norton Museum of Art or the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. On top of that you could always just enjoy a great meal with an equally great view at one of Palm Beach County's waterfront restaurants from Jupiter to Boca Raton. Calling all pirates, mermaids, sea wenches, squabs and even landlubbers, the 2023 Boynton Beach Pirate Fest is happening this weekend in downtown Boynton Beach.

Sailing into downtown Boynton Beach, this event will feature two days of pirate-y fun, with live music from Low Ground Band, Spider Cherry, Vibes Farm, The People Upstairs and The Latitudes on Saturday and then Alive Beat, Joey Calderaio, Making Faces, The Fire Brigade and Paul Anthony & The Reggae Souljahs on Sunday.

Expect more than a dozen food trucks as well as arts and crafts vendors. There will also be pirate encampments, alluring mermaids, stunt shows, cannons, and more. Young buccaneers will have their own share of adventure with captivating kids' activities and a thrilling treasure hunt.
