The fall season is here and while you won’t be rejoicing in a dramatic change in foliage, there are a lot of ways to welcome the change of season in South Florida. This is the when we get to venture outside without threat of heatstroke and enjoy festivals, greenmarkets and new entertainment seasons. This weekend promises music and fun at the Bark Back Benefit in Lake Worth, cornhole for money in Jupiter, food trucks with a Foreigner tribute in Royal Palm Beach and more. Here are several fantastic options and even more great things to do in Palm Beach County.

In addition to the top five events listed there's always something great happening at places like The Norton Museum of Art or the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. On top of that you could always just enjoy a great meal with an equally great view at one of Palm Beach County's waterfront restaurants from Jupiter to Boca Raton. 1. Bark Back Benefit presents 'El Ocho' at Bryant Park

This annual event will feature 10 bands, a classic car show, beers from local brewers, artists and more with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit animal rescues in South Florida. Bands will include Spred the Dub, The Supervillians, Uproot Hootenanny, Brett Staska & The Souvenirs, Billy Doom is Dead and more.

2. Friends of Jupiter Beach 2023 Cornhole Tournament

The Friends of Jupiter Beach 2023 Cornhole Tournament will be held Saturday, Oct. 21 at Ocean Cay Park in Jupiter.

Organized and hosted by FJB, this third annual event will bring together some of the best bag throwers in the area who will be vying for the first place prize of $500. Second place is worth $250 and third place will be two $50 gift cards to area restaurants. There will also be food trucks and beer vendors on site keeping spectators and competitors full and festive.

This spectacular day of shopping will be held at Copperpoint Brewing and will feature goods by Berger's Buns Bakery, Rachel Cooper Art, Paula's Mandalas, Pineapple Pirate, Surf Florida, Handmade by Heidi and more. The food truck Chicago Me Up, featuring gourmet hot dogs, will be on site. Yes, there will be beer.

4. Food Trucks and Rock 'n Roll

Get fired up go wild to songs like "Hot Blooded," "Double Vision," "Juke Box Hero," "Cold as Ice," "Night Life," and many, many more.

5. 'BEATITUDE: The Beat Attitude' exhibit at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre

This exhibition will feature over 70 photos taken by Joey Tranchina in the 1960s and 1970s of iconic culture-bending poets, activists, and artists of the Beat Generation, including Allen Ginsberg, Diane di Prima, Amiri Baraka, Kenneth Rexroth, Michael McClure, and more. This collection was stored away for nearly 50 years before being discovered by his son in 2018 and later shared with critic and art historian Anthony Bannon and art consultant and producer Dolores Lusitana.

The opening reception is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20. The exhibition then runs through Nov. 6. 451 Clematis St., West Palm Beach. Information: workshop.org

Straight outta Munich (well, just outside) they will definitely have the place hopping. There will also be a carnival area with rides for children and adults.
