Looking for fun things to do this weekend Dec. 15-17? Top 5 events in Palm Beach County
It's officially wintertime in South Florida and though you won't be building snowmen or hitting the slopes, you will be able to enjoy outdoor activities without having to layer up or even wear a jacket most of the time. This is the time to venture outside enjoy festivals, greenmarkets and the area's incredible entertainment.
In addition to the top five events listed there's always something great happening at places like The Norton Museum of Art or the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. On top of that you could always just enjoy a great meal with an equally great view at one of Palm Beach County's waterfront restaurants from Jupiter to Boca Raton. 1. Lake Worth Beach bonfire, live music
Enjoy the warming glow of a raging fire at the Lake Worth Pier, tonight, Friday, Dec. 15. In addition to the roaring blaze, there will be live music by Indigo Dreamers and S'Mores (Yes, those delicious mashups of graham crackers, chocolate and molten marshmallow goodness will be available.) Listen to real music, feel the heat, dance like you're on fire and enjoy life.

2. MacArthur Beach State Park Cleanup
Feel like the world's coming apart sometimes? Stop griping and be proactive. Maybe you can't fix the world, but you can probably pick trash up off the beach and maybe, make one small piece of this struggling planet that much nicer and beautiful. You may even meet some great people and, in the end, feel better. Just saying.

3. The Gardens Trailblazer 5K
Whether you're still working off that Thanksgiving meal, turning those tasty holiday treats into fuel or just love running, this race/walk event is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the scenic trails of North County District Park. The event features a 5K run, 2K Family Fun Run and 1K Kids Reindeer Run. After the race/walk, there will be a special, yet-to-be-announced, holiday movie shown on a massive screen.

4. Sunrise Beach Yoga at The Seagate Beach Club
Bask in the warm glow of that massive, life-giving, thermonuclear reactor we call the sun as you stretch, lengthen and strengthen those muscles and joints. Held on the The Seagate Beach Club’s private beach, the 60-minute morning Vinyasa yoga flow class features creative postures, meditation, and pranayama (breathwork). Guests should bring a mat, towel, and water bottle. Open to all levels.

5. Holiday Zumba Dance Party with Jaime
Love a good Zumba class? Who doesn't? Now go full chocolate and peanut butter and combine Zumba with a holiday dance party for the perfect event. Get moving in this dance, fitness program that combines high- and low-intensity Latin dance moves designed to burn calories and boost cardio endurance. All ages and levels are welcome. Takes place at The District at Wellington Green.
