While the rest of the country is shivering or at least bracing for the next cold spell, in South Florida we can finally stop sweating the heat. This is the when we get to venture outside without threat of heatstroke and enjoy festivals, greenmarkets and the holidays outdoors. This weekend promises a sweet time with Boards & Brews at Twisted Trunk Brewing, jazz in the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, revitalizing yoga and more. Here are several fantastic options and even more great things to do in Palm Beach County.
In addition to the top five events listed there's always something great happening at places like The Norton Museum of Art or the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. 1. Boards & Brews at Twisted Trunk Brewing
Got a surfboard you're not exactly loving anymore? (It happens.) Bring it down to swap or sell it at this first annual event. The festivities will also feature a holiday craft market with top local craft vendors and area surf shops participating. The band with one of the coolest names ever: Guavatron will keep the mood festive and fun and Little Moir's will be on site selling some of the greatest food ever made. Take it in and wash it down with some fine craft beer.

2. District Yoga with Maki

3. Jazz and Gospel in the Gardens
Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens is proud to present Jazz and Gospel in the Gardens Concert Series – Celebrating the Greats. Visitors will have the opportunity to listen to gospel and jazz from visiting world class artists among the monumental works of Ann Norton.

4. Carlin Park After Dark featuring Rome Saladino
Enjoy the sweet ocean breezes as Saladino croons and takes the masses through a Michael Buble-inspired jazzy Christmas concert at the Seabreeze Amphitheater in Jupiter.

5. Dogs' Day in the Garden at Mounts Botanical Garden
Got a favorite pup in need of a relaxed garden stroll? You're in luck as this photogenic garden will welcome those four-legged friends during their monthly event. If you happened to get a great pic, post it online with #mountsbotanicalgarden. There are some guidelines that owners must follow including non-retractable leashes only, only one dog per adult, rabies vaccination must be current and a few others.
