This is the time to venture outside enjoy festivals, greenmarkets and the area's incredible entertainment. This weekend enjoy a festive holiday 5K in Delray Beach, a moonlight concert in North Palm Beach, a pirate-and mermaid-themed cruise along the Intracoastal and much more.
In addition to the top five events listed there's always something great happening at places like The Norton Museum of Art or the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. On top of that you could always just enjoy a great meal with an equally great view at one of Palm Beach County's waterfront restaurants from Jupiter to Boca Raton. 1. Delray Beach Jingle Bell Jog
Fueled up on sugar plums, candy canes and gingerbread everything, get ready to run in holiday style as all participants will be given a Santa suit costume and jingle bells for their shoes. Finishers will receive a holiday-themed medal. The race is a scenic out and back along A1A with the finish on Gleason Street near Anchor Park.

2. Moonlight Concert at MacArthur Beach State Park
Artist Matthew Sabatella will perform American folk music in the park's beautiful outdoor amphitheater. Get ready for a magical night of music under the full moon.

3. Hakuna Matata Holiday Pirate & Mermaid Cruise
Enjoy a 90-minute, family-friendly adventure on this pirate- and mermaid-themed cruise aboard a 50-foot catamaran. There will be games with the fun-loving crew, prizes and more. Drinks will be available for purchase including soft drinks, beer, wine, rum punch, margaritas, mojitos and more.

4. Norton Museum's Art After Dark
This special wellness night will feature a sound bath meditation led by transformational mindset coach Babette Sughrue and a performance by harpist Esther Underhay. Underhay has played professionally around the world.

5. Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, kayaking
Take in beautiful scenery as you get those muscles working during this exploration of the Intracoastal around Boca Raton. Learn about the fascinating mangrove and estuary ecosystems of South Florida. Must have kayaking experience and be able to get in and out of a kayak without assistance. Single/double kayaks will be assigned to couples/groups as available. Advanced reservations are required. Adults and children ages 7 and up.
