Looking back at the bonkers guest list of Donald Trump's 2007 Trump Vodka party: Kim Kardashian and Stormy Daniels, among others

Back in 2007, Donald Trump was known as the host of The Apprentice, not the president. Porn actress Stormy Daniels was years away from the front pages of national newspapers, after it was revealed that Trump’s personal attorney paid her to stay silent about an alleged 2006 affair with the future POTUS. And Kim Kardashian was just another reality TV star, weeks away from the release of her sex tape and years away from dominating social media, the internet, and, well, the world. They were a long way from the White House.

The date was Jan. 17, 2007. The three of them gathered, along with other famous and infamous of-the-moment celebs, for the launch of the now-defunct Trump Vodka at the L.A. club Les Deux. The venue was popping in 2007 — remember when the cast of The Hills practically lived there? — so it was the perfect place for businessman Trump to debut his new venture.

Trump, of course, doesn’t drink. He never has. But he made the spirit his own by using the slogan “Success Distilled.” Trump threw out a Trumpism in a press release touting the brand: “I fully expect the most called-for cocktail in America to be the T&T, or the Trump and tonic.”

Of course, Trump Vodka would go bankrupt in 2010. Trump himself filed a 2011 lawsuit, claiming he hadn’t received all the royalties he was owed from the brand.

But that was still years away. The launch party was a night for celebrating — and for some extreme celebrity gawking to anyone with a clue to what the future held.

Kardashian hung out with pals such as Kimberly Stewart — yep, the woman who had an incident with a motorcycle on the red carpet — and BFF Brittny Gastineau.

Months ahead of Mad Men‘s debut, January Jones went for a lingerie look that would make Betty Draper’s eyes bulge.

Fresh off Jessica Alba’s Into the Blue, Tyson Beckford was too cool to take off his shades indoors.

Haylie Duff, Hilary’s older sister, took a break from filming 7th Heaven to make an appearance at the bash.

America’s Next Top Model star J. Alexander was there too, rocking casual style and a look of mild disbelief.
