They've been friends for over a decade and at the 2019 VMA's on Sunday night, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez proved just how much they love and support each other.
While Swift has been involved in numerous feuds over the years, from Kimye to Scooter Braun, her BFF has stuck by her through it all.
It goes both ways, as Gomez was dealing with multiple breakups with Justin Bieber and health crises, Swift has stayed by her side through thick and thin.

They Met Through The Jonas Brothers
During a 2017 radio interview with KIIS FM UK Gomez shared the completely relatable story of how the pair met.
She gushed, "We actually dated the Jonas Brothers together! It was hysterical." Selena once dated Nick Jonas while Taylor was dating his brother Joe.
She continued, "It was amazing, because she was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots. And I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked. It was the best thing we got out of those relationships."
Selena Came To Taylor For Relationship Advice
Gomez spoke about Swift once more during an interview with Seventeen Magazine, claiming her BFF gives the best relationship advice.
She said, "Every single problem I ever have is healable by Taylor Swift. If I ever have an issue, Taylor has gone through it, because she's older than me, and she gives the most thought-out answers. And what I love about Taylor is that she does believe in the whole love story and Prince Charming and soul mates. Because of her, I haven't lost faith. We literally talk every day."
They've Supported Each Other At Awards Shows
Throughout 2011 and 2012, Swift and Gomez were constantly seen at awards shows together, both seemingly on a high in their careers.
In January 2011, they both had a big night at the Peoples' Choice Awards with Swift taking home the trophy for "Favorite Country Artist" and Gomez winning "Favorite Breakout Artist."
It seems these two have seen their careers absolutely soar together, and what better way to bond?
With all the feuds that seem to go on between women, Gomez and Swift have always supported each other's career ambitions.
Taylor Has Spoken Out About Their Friendship
In a May 2014 interview with E!, Swift said of their friendship, "It's been the longest one I think either of us had really. When your life changes, and you become thrust into this really strange whirlwind where what your life is is different from what other people think your life is. And your life is commented on and your life is written about and fictionalized and all that. Both of us have kind of stuck it out and hung in there through all the different changes we've gone through. Longevity is something you really can find very precious and rare in friendships."
They Supported Each Other At The 2019 AMA's
At the 2019 AMA's on Sunday night the two clearly had each other's backs. Swift was seen singing along to Gomez' performance of "Lose You To Love Me," her first live performance in 2 years. This was after she claimed body-shamers had caused her a lot of pain, saying it "messed me up."
Gomez was also in the audience to support Swift while she performed a medley of her greatest hits, and took home an honorary award for Artist Of The Decade, amid ongoing drama with Scooter Braun.
It's a breath of fresh air to see such a strong female friendship; let's hope they last another decade!
