Lonzo Ball gets roasted on Twitter after Summer League debut
To say Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball had a bad night would be an understatement. After scoring only five points on 2-of-15 shooting against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night, even Lonzo’s father, LaVar, called his performance “his worst game ever.”

And you better believe NBA Twitter had a field day because of it.
Watching Lonzo Ball’s highlights from last night made me cringe.

It wasn’t all bad, though. Lonzo had an an incredible assist to Brandon Ingram early in the game.

And NBA veterans Anthony Morrow and Brandon Jennings tried to put Lonzo’s debut into perspective.
I don’t look too deep into Lonzo Ball’s shooting tonight. Kid will be special in the this league.

Lonzo Ball summer league means nothing as far as wins and stats. Just hoop. And make sure your ass is ready by Oct 30th. 82 ✊

Only time will tell if Friday night’s performance is a fluke or not.
