Mookie Cook commits to Oregon (again). And the top Kentucky basketball recruiting links.

Longtime Kentucky basketball recruiting target Mookie Cook announced Friday that he has re-committed to the Oregon Ducks.

The 6-foot-7 wing from Portland, Ore. was one of the first players in the 2023 class to receive an offer from the Wildcats, and he visited Lexington last fall. He ultimately committed to Oregon in March, then backed off of that pledge two months later. The Ducks re-emerged as the major Crystal Ball favorite in recent weeks.

Arizona, Duke, Gonzaga and Kentucky were all linked to Cook’s recruitment following his decommitment from Oregon in June, and the G League path will likely continue to be an option. UK landed a commitment from five-star wing Justin Edwards last month. Cook is the No. 4 overall player in the 247Sports composite rankings for 2023.
