The show follows Kong Sang’s crown prince Shi Ying who had to stage his demise in order to get out of the palace after being set up by Qiu Shui, the royal consort. He was sent to Jiuyi Mountain to cultivate. The princess of the Chi Yi clan, Zhu Yan, whom he later encounters, decides to become his disciple.

Fate then works against them when they choose opposing sides in a political struggle of life and death proportions. Eventually, putting aside their issues, they pledge to protect their beloved Kong Sang Continent.”
