Will There Be a Locke & Key Season 4 Release Date & Is It Coming Out?

Developed by Carlton Cuse, Meredith Averill, and Aron Eli Coleite from the namesake comic book series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez, Locke & Key is a fantasy supernatural drama series streaming on Netflix. The plot revolves around the three Locke siblings, who leave Seattle with their mother after the violent death of their father and arrive in Keyhouse, a mansion belonging to their father’s family. Soon, they discover that the house holds many supernatural secrets. Season 1 premiered on February 7, 2020, season 2 on October 22, 2021, and season 3 on August 10, 2022. Is there a Locke & Key Season 4 release date?

There is no Locke & Key Season 4 release date as the series came to an end after the third season.

In April 2022, it was announced that Locke & Key would end after season 2, which was the plan from the beginning. Series co-creators Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill said in a statement, “Once we began working on the series, we felt three seasons was the ideal length to bring the story of the Locke family and their Keyhouse adventures to a satisfying conclusion. As storytellers, we are grateful that we had the opportunity to tell our version of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez’s incredible story exactly the way we wanted. We’re keeping the magical keys, though, for our own personal use.”

The cast includes Darby Stanchfield as Nina Locke, Connor Jessup as Tyler Locke, Emilia Jones as Kinsey Locke, Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke, Petrice Jones as Scot Cavendish, Aaron Ashmore as Duncan Locke, Brendan Hines as Josh Bennett, Kevin Durand as Frederick Gideo, Sherri Saum as Ellie Whedon, Coby Bird as Rufus Whedon, and more.

Why Locke & Key Season 4 isn’t happening
