Lloyd Banks is continuing his late career second wind with some spooky bars. The 41-year-old rapper released his new mixtape Halloween Havoc IV: The 72nd Hr this week.

The 15-track project came out on Halloween this Tuesday (Oct. 31) and was the latest installment of his long-running mixtape series that began in 2008. The second project was released in 2015 and Banks followed it up with the third in 2016 before taking another seven-year break.

The former G-Unit member handled the majority of the rapping on the project, but did have two features in Vado and Sy Ari Da Kid. He enlisted the help of some talented producers as well, namely George Gentson, Cartune Beatz, Haas Almadhi, and Mr. Authentic. Check out Halloween Havoc IV: The 72nd Hr below.

Lloyd Banks teased the project last week while engaging with fans on X, formerly known as Twitter. A fan gave him his props for being the “greatest rapper walking the Earth” earlier in his career, and the “Beamer, Benz, Or Bentley” artist expressed his gratitude before asking who the current greatest rapper walking the Earth was.

Another X user responded to the original fan’s tweet and asserted that Banks was simply hot, but never the greatest rapper walking the Earth. The original fan said nobody was out rapping the Hunger For More rapper during his G-Unit mixtape run, to which the NYC rapper chimed in and said that nobody is out rapping him currently.

After poking fun at a few fans who also disagreed with him, Banks snuck in some promotion for his new project. “I just be having fun engaging with the ppl on MY twitter..and when I do..I’m in the rap blogs,” he said. “Damn I hope y’all post my new sh!t that fast!!!! Halloween Havoc IV on the way!!”
