You’ll See More of Host Angela in ‘Westworld’ Season 2 – and Her Plot Thickens
A standout “Westworld” guest star has been promoted to series regular in Season 2 of the HBO series.
Talulah Riley, who played the host and greeter Angela, will continue to play the character into Season 2, TheWrap has learned.
Angela is the “host whose beatific face welcomed guests to Westworld for decades,” an HBO spokesperson told TheWrap.

As for what her role will be in the upcoming season, the spokesperson added something more sinister: “Angela will prove to be one of the last faces many guests will ever see.”
Angela was the greeter who had more importance than viewers originally thought. She first appeared in episode two where she greeted William at the gate and presented him with clothes, weapons, and his choice between two hats.
In another time, she was a host in the park before it opened. She was also a follower of the mysterious Wyatt and proved to be a problem when Teddy and the Man in Black were hunting him down.

With this added character description, we can possibly expect a lot more of the Angela we saw tricking Teddy or the one that was working with Wyatt in the massacre before the park opened.
Riley is a British actress best known for her work in “Westworld,” but also for roles in “Pride and Prejudice,” and small roles in “Inception” and “Thor: The Dark World.”
HBO’s “Westworld” was a massive hit in its first season. Based on the 1973 movie of the same name, it was originally supposed to be a miniseries before it was renewed for a second. The plan now is to have it span five or six seasons, according to prior reports.
Season 2 isn’t expected to hit the air until 2018.
