However, haters like Jillian Michaels are coming after her, limiting her worth and success to weight. Although Lizzo doesn't mind being a body-positive role model, she doesn't want to be defined by it. As a musical artist, she's multi-faceted and makes wonderful contributions outside of music too.

Although Lizzo's body-positive traits shouldn't completely define her career or musical themes, she has already done a great job of bringing awareness to the topic. With body positive guru and comedian Jameela Jamil, the two sat down for an Instagram "I Weigh" conversation.
In this video, Lizzo uses her platform to relate her past issues with body dysmorphia and how she eventually learned to love herself. Being vulnerable in front of millions was big, motivating other women to change their mindsets too.

Australian Wildfires
Lizzo may be successful, but that doesn't stop her from giving back to those in need. Recently, Lizzo took time off her tour to volunteer for the Australian wildfire relief efforts.
She visited Foodbank Victoria in Melbourne, where she thanked and boosted hope for the other volunteers. Residents of the area lack access to food and water due to blocked roads, the food bank one of their only sources. With Lizzo's help, awareness of the debilitating fires could help receive more donations.
Live Performances
Colorful, bright, and full of energy, Lizzo's live performances are works of art in themselves. A televised example of this was her MTV VMA 2019 performances of "Truth Hurts" and "Good as Hell".
The set design was centered around a giant, jiggling butt in a red thong, as a parade of black women crowded the stage. Their costumes were fun, a mix of nudes with bare booty cheeks and blue leotards with clouds on them. Most important, Lizzo held the audience, and everyone knew she was in charge.
