Everyone Has An Opinion On The Impeachment

Donald Trump was impeached in the House on Wednesday night, and of course, everyone had an opinion. Lizzo brought back a tweet from September -- "IM🍑MENT" -- with the new caption "This aged well..."

Fox News' millennial pundit and internet provocateur Tomi Lahren decided to respond, point out that Trump isn't out of office yet (the Senate still has to vote), and even quoted Lizzo's own song back to her.

"Well @realDonaldTrump is still your president. Truth hurts. #KAG2020"

Of course she did.

Feeling Good As Hell

Lizzo wasn't going to let that rudeness stand, so she quote tweeted Lahren's response with a call against hate.

"The only thing that hurts is this country is divided by hatred fueled from people like you.. why don’t u do better and give ya boy some advice on telling the truth, he’s gonna need it."

This is pretty on brand for Lizzo, who has spoken out extensively against hate. While it's mostly in the context of self-love, it still applies here.

"It’s because loving yourself don’t happen overnight.. self-hate is years of internalized programming from external influences... sometimes self-hate is chemical & effects ya mentally/emotionally.. give your growth time— it took me 10 years and I’m still not 100% there. ♥️ "

Tom Lahren Snaps

Lahren couldn't leave Lizzo with the last word, so she snapped back with a deeply angry tweet.

"Hatred? This whole witch hunt was fueled by hatred from the Left, from those who can’t stand the fact the country is soaring under this president. You don’t have to like or support@realDonaldTrump but win by voting in 2020, not attempting to nullify the 2016 election."

Lahren continued to shriek about the impeachment online:

"This impeachment sham is a sorry attempt to convince people@realDonaldTrump did something wrong, without evidence, in the sorry hope low-information viewers of other networks will buy it."

Lizzo Is Unbothered

Despite Lahren's rage filled attacks, Lizzo isn't letting her rain on her parade. She tweeted out "Anyways, I’m having a great day! 😁" instead of responding to Lahren directly.

Lizzo is the musical guest on this week's Saturday Night Live alongside host Eddie Murphy, so she has more exciting things to look forward to instead of being bated by Lahren. She truly is feeling good as hell.
