Rihanna hit the red-carpet last night for her Savage X Fenty show in New York. The singer gave an interview to ET, where she was asked about Lizzo.

She then asked Rihanna if they had a planned collaboration in the works. RiRi responded, “No. but like, ill collaborate with her on the lights for this interview right now.”

She continued, “Lizzo is so badass and she’s everything that Savage stands for. A confident woman, no matter what size, color, shape … your attitude is what makes you savage.”

Rihanna added, “It’s the confidence that you have in yourself, and the confidence you can give off to people who look like you and feel like you. And those are the people who identity with the brand.”

Lizzo responded on social media, “READY FOR OUR COLLAB SIS @badgalriri”

A bunch of fans also lost their mind too in the comments. One wrote, “I just fainted thinking about this collab.” Model Shaun Ross said, “Honey drops mic you’ve made it!! Everyone move.”

It was reported this week that Rihanna’s long-awaited next album will drop in December. Here’s hoping Lizzo has time to record a track.

Lizzo has been getting a ton of love from celebrities including Queen Beyoncé. Following her performance at the Made in America festival, Lizzo posted a series of photos.

In the photos you can see Beyoncé and Jay-Z watching her set from the side stage.

She captioned the post, “Swipe to lose your f—cking mind.”
