Lizzo writes tongue-in-cheek caption for latest bikini pic: 'Roll model'
Lizzo isn’t known to be modest when it comes to encouraging body positivity and self-confidence through her songs and interviews. But the “Truth Hurts” singer has taken her influence to another level by calling herself a “Roll Model” in her latest Instagram picture.
The 31-year-old singer-songwriter and flautist recently took her talents to Brazil, according to her social media, where she posed on the beach wearing an orange bikini. And it’s no secret that she’s certainly feeling herself, as she posted a pair of front and backside photos on Friday afternoon.
Her followers immediately flooded the comments to give props for her creative caption. Others asked if they could add “roll model” to their resumes after feeling so inspired by her confidence.
“Genius caption,” one person wrote, while others called her a “goddess” and “idol.”
But it wasn’t the first time that Lizzo had posted comment-worthy photos from her trip. Just a couple of days prior, the Michigan-native shared a set of seriously cheeky photos from a pool in Ipanema.
“Views from Brazil,” she captioned the slideshow of her backside, to which some responded “chill” while others called her “bae.”
The photos come not quite one month after celebrity trainer and weight-loss expert Jillian Michaels spoke out about Lizzo’s body, saying, controversially, “You cannot glorify obesity.”
