Liza Chasin Starts 3dot Prods., Inks First-Look TV Deal With Anonymous Content
Five months after Liza Chasin exited as Working Title Films’ President of US Production to segue to producing, she has launched 3dot productions and has signed a first-look television production deal with Anonymous Content.
Under the pact, she will focus on developing and producing scripted programming for TV networks and streaming platforms. Additionally, Chasin will continue to develop and produce existing and new film projects.

Added Chasin, “I’m very excited to be starting my new company with this incredible alliance with the extraordinary Steve Golin and all of his colleagues at Anonymous Content. Steve and his team have impeccable taste, great relationships and total integrity – it will be an honor for me to create television content with them.”
Chasin is launching 3dot productions after a 26-year stint at Working Title Films, where she served as the president of US Production. Chasin first joined the company in 1991 as director of development and was elevated to the role of VP of production and development, becoming the head of the Los Angeles office and overseeing the company’s creative affairs in the United States in 1996.
Most recently, Chasin executive produced Darkest Hour, which won two Oscars, Including for Gary Oldman’s performance, the Oscar-nominated Baby Driver and Victoria & Abdul, as well as 7 Days in Entebbe, Mary Queen of Scots, Johnny English 3, and Night in Hatton Garden. Other projects that Chasin has executive produced include the Netflix series Gypsy, starring Naomi Watts, Hail, Caesar!, The Danish Girl, Everest, The Theory of Everything, About Time, The World’s End and Les Misérables.
Chasin is a founding member of the Time’s Up campaign advocating for safety and equity in the workplace.
The deal with Chasin is part of Anonymous Content’s expansion following the minority investment from Laurene Powell Jobs’ Emerson Collective in 2016. Anonymous Content just announced a partnership with Casarotto Ramsay and United Agents to open Chapter One, a UK based independent production company, and also recently entered into an agreement with the New York Times Company to represent its film and TV rights. The company also has acquired the rights to the bestselling novel Shantaram and to Margaret Atwood’s MaddAddam trilogy to develop as TV series.
Anonymous’ TV slate includes the upcoming limited series “Catch-22” starring George Clooney for Hulu, fellow high-profile new series Maniac, starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill for Netflix, as well as current series True Detective (HBO), Mr. Robot (USA Network), Schitt’s Creek (POP), Berlin Station (EPIX), Counterpart (Starz), The OA (Netflix), Electric Dreams (Channel 4/Amazon), 13 Reasons Why (Netflix) and The Alienist (TNT).
