Live music returns to Historic Blakeley State Park — folk music this Friday

BLAKELEY, Ala. (WKRG) — Historic Blakeley State Park is welcoming back live music to special events this spring, according to a release.

The park will host a night of family-friendly live performances once a month on a select Friday in April and May from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Local artist Kalyn Muller will bring “a soulful blend of Folk, Americana, and other great music from the past and present” on Friday, April 26.

That same night, “Baldwin County native Brad Lawley plays throughout the Southeast combining his versions of country and blues,” the release said.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children aged 6-12. Kids under age 6 will get in free.

The park encouraged attendees to bring a chair.
