'The Little Prince' gets the royal treatment at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center

MIDLAND ― A fresh understanding of how to laugh, cry and love again unfolds in "The Little Prince" presented by the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center.

Running Feb. 9-11 and Feb. 15-18 as part of the Midland center's Clearview Federal Credit Union Subscription Series, the play is adapted from the heartfelt and enchanting book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

The story centers on a young prince (Emmett Kent) embarked on a great journey through the galaxy, talking to everyone he meets, including a garden of roses, a snake, and a fox who wishes to be tamed.

From each encounter, the prince gains a unique insight he shares with the Aviator (Michael Campayno), a visitor to his colorful world.

“We are delighted to begin the new year with one of the most universally beloved stories of alltime,” Justin Fortunato, producing artistic director of Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center, said in a press release. “'The Little Prince' is a beautiful and timeless classic that will move and entertain audiences of all ages.”

Tickets cost $20 at LincolnParkArts.org or by calling 724-576-4644.
