Joseph Baena looks just like dad Arnold Schwarzenegger in new gym photo: 'The resemblance is uncanny'
Joseph Baena is again making fans of his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, do a double take.
The 22-year-old son of the actor and former governor of California on Tuesday shared a photo of himself flashing his muscles, in a pose similar to one Schwarzenegger struck in his bodybuilding days.
Commenters were all about Baena’s resemblance to the Jingle All the Way star.
People referred to Baena as “Little Arnold” and “Arnold 2.0.”
“The resemblance is uncanny,” someone said.
Another added, “Looking so much [like] your dad when he was young it’s scary Joe.”
Baena, who graduated from Pepperdine University this year, has proven to be as interested in bulking up as his father. Schwarzenegger was named Mr. Olympia seven times between 1970 and 1980, and his earliest acting jobs, in movies such as Conan the Barbarian and Hercules in New York, were tied to his physique.
The father and son pair have been known to hit the gym together.
Baena captured attention in January, too, after he struck another of Schwarzenegger’s signature poses.
Speaking earlier this month with Us Weekly, Baena called Schwarzenegger a “huge inspiration.”
Baena, whose mother is Mildred Baena, is the youngest of Schwarzenegger’s five adult children. He shares the others — Katherine, 29; Christina, 28; Patrick, 26; and 22-year-old Christopher — with ex-wife Maria Shriver.
Schwarzenegger himself is continuing to hit the gym hard. He needs to be in top shape for his upcoming slate of movies, including sequel The Legend of Conan.
