Literary calendar for week of Jan. 21 including veterinarian Jody Lulich and his memoir, ‘In the Company of Grace’
JODY LULICH: Introduces his memoir “In the Company of Grace,” in which he explains his path to veterinary medicine and how caring for voiceless animals amidst his own shame and pain provided a lifeline and a chance to heal himself.
The author is a professor of veterinary clinical services and internal medicine at the University of Minnesota where he holds the Osborne/Hills Chair in nephrology/urology and is director of the Minnesota Urolith Center. He is also a classical pianist.

What else is going on
It isn’t too early to start thinking about the all-day 2024 Minnesota Writing Workshop on April 6 at the InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront, 11 E. Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul. With the theme “How to Get Published,” the in-person event is presented by the independent organization Writing Day Workshops.
