Third Eye Blind have released their new EP, Thanks For Everything. The seven-track project consists covers of songs by Bon Iver (“Blood Bank”), Chastity Belt (“Joke”), Queens of the Stone Age (“In the Fade”), Santigold (“This Isn’t Our Parade”), Tim Buckley (“Song to the Siren”), Babyshambles (“Fuck Forever”), and Happy Diving (“Ten”). Stream the full EP below. “The idea with this EP was to amplify some of that music and art, and in doing so, catch inspiration for our next album,” the band explains. In a statement, vocalist Stephan Jenkins says, “In the studio, I came to grips with what a great singer Julia Shapiro is. She’s Nico of the Northwest, plus she does that cool shit on the guitar.” Proceeds for the project go to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s Andy Warhol Museum.
