Soccer Mommy have released another new song, “Feed,” which appears on the soundtrack for the new horror movie The Turning. Take a listen below.

Soccer Mommy produced “Feed,” which was mixed by Lawrence Rothman. “I’ve always wanted to do a song for a horror movie so I loved getting to write ‘Feed,’” she said in a statement. “It’s a song about letting a demon feed off your body. It was really fun to get to write something a little more imaginative than my other songs.” Lawrence Rothman added:

The Turning takes place in the 1990s—instead of using licensed ’90s music—[The Turning director] Floria [Sigismondi] and I wanted to create a soundtrack that was ’90s influenced mixing our favorite new artist and a few from the ’90s era. Giving the film its own world and its own unique version of the ’90s that only this film lives in. When Sophie [Allison] from Soccer Mommy sent the raw demo to “Feed” it became the main character Kate played by Mackenzie Davis cassette mixtape jam on constant repeat.

“Feed” is the third new song from Soccer Mommy since September, following “lucy” and “yellow is the color of her eyes.” The Turning Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is out January 24, 2020 via KRO/Sony Masterworks; the movie is out the same day.

How Labour lost touch in a Leave-voting former heartland

John C: Labour is out of touch. From the 19th Century until the 1970s there was a clearly-defined "working class" that fitted socialist theory: these were people in manual work, who worked to live. This has all changed. CEOs work as hard as ordinary office or production line workers. Few now work in manual jobs and even fewer work just for food and shelter. There aren't even clearly-defined rich and poor, but rather a whole spread. Labour simply hasn't woken up to this, and its policies therefore aren't appropriate. They should chuck out Corbyn and find a more modern "caring progressive".
