Smashing Pumpkins Announce New Album, Share Song: Listen

Smashing Pumpkins have announced a new album. Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun. is out November 16 via Napalm. Recorded with Rick Rubin, Shiny and Oh So Bright features founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin, with longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder. The recently reunited band has shared the record’s latest single, “Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)” after it debuted earlier today on Lauren Laverne’s BBC Radio show. Listen and find the LP’s tracklist below.

The track follows “Solara,” which is also set to appear on the new album. Previously, Billy Corgan promised two new EPs. Smashing Pumpkins’ last studio album, Monuments to an Elegy, arrived in 2014.
