Listen to slowthai’s New Song “ENEMY”

Today (May 10), slowthai has released a new song. It’s called “ENEMY,” and you can listen to it below. Opening with a sample of the 1975’s Matty Healy at the 2020 NME Awards, the track alludes to his obnoxious behavior at the ceremony, where he manhandled comedian Katherine Ryan before getting into an altercation with an audience member.

The rapper released his debut album Nothing Great About Britain last year, and it earned him a nomination for the United Kingdom’s esteemed Mercury Prize. Though he lost to Dave’s Psychodrama, he caused a stir at the awards ceremony in September by waving an effigy of Boris Johnson’s severed head during his performance.
