Listen to Rihanna’s ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Song ‘Life Me Up’ (Audio)

Rihanna’s newest solo song in five years is here.

“Lift Me Up,” which the Fenty mogul confirmed after Marvel teased Monday night, will accent the soundtrack of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” which had its gala premiere on Wednesday and will see wide release Nov. 11.

Rumors began circulating earlier this month that Rihanna has recorded not one, but two tracks for the upcoming Marvel movie.

On Twitter Tuesday,  the studio posted an animation of the “Wakanda Forever” title shimmers, shuffles and then fades away, leaving only the letter R, and a date: 10/28/22.

Five years ago, the artist released “Lemon,” and it has been 6 years since she released a studio album (“ANTI”). More recently, she gave birth to a child she shares with longtime partner A$AP Rocky.

Alongside Rihanna’s music, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” stars Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Leticia Wright as Shuri, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Florence Kasumba as Ayo, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda and Martin Freeman as Everett Ross, all returning from “Black Panther.” Tenoch Huerta plays Namor, the king of Talokan, joined by Dominique Thorne as future Ironheart RiRi Williams, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livinalli.

Ryan Coogler directed the film. “Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman, who died in August 2020 of colorectal cancer, was not recast.
