Noel Gallagher has unearthed a previously unreleased Oasis demo called “Don’t Stop...” Gallagher said that he found the demo on an unmarked CD at home. “As far as I’m aware there is only one version of this tune ‘out there’ from an Oasis soundcheck in Hong Kong about 15 years ago?” he wrote. “I’m not sure whether the soundcheck version pre-dates the demo as there’s no date on the CD.” Listen to Oasis’ “Don’t Stop...” below.
In response to the release, Liam Gallagher tweeted:
Oasis released Dig Out Your Soul in 2008 and broke up the next year. Noel and Liam Gallagher sometimes bat around the idea of an Oasis reunion with one typically blaming the other for why it won’t happen. Last month, for instance, Liam Gallagher suggested an Oasis reunion to raise money for the NHS. He then said the reunion could happen without Noel. In a recent interview with British Vogue, Noel has said he’s also considered an Oasis reunion, but, in the same breath, called Liam a “fucking idiot.”
