Featuring new versions of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” “Hakuna Matata,” more

The CGI live-action remake of the The Lion King is set to be released next week on July 18. Today, the full soundtrack was released, featuring a new score from composer Hans Zimmer and newly recorded renditions of classic songs from the 1994 animated film as well.

Beyoncé and Donald Glover duet on “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” alongside Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen, while Glover, Eichner, Rogen, and JD McCrary (who voices young Simba) recorded a version of “Hakuna Matata.” Check out the full soundtrack below.

The Lion King (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) also features a new original song by Beyoncé called “Spirit.” Read our track review here. The new film also notably includes a cameo by Chance the Rapper.
