Listen to Drake and DJ Khaled’s New Songs “POPSTAR” and “GREECE”

As promised, Drake and DJ Khaled have once again come together to collaborate on new music. Listen to the new songs “POPSTAR” (which name drops Scooter Braun, Rihanna, and Selena) and “GREECE” below. Both are slated to appear on Khaled’s next album, Khaled Khaled; a release date for the album has yet to be announced. The new tracks also mark the first new music from Drake since the release of Dark Lane Demo Tapes this past May, and his first music with DJ Khaled since “To the Max” in 2017.

DJ Khaled’s last album, Father of Asahd, was released in 2019. This past February, he appeared during Chance the Rapper’s halftime show during the NBA All-Star Game to perform “I’m the One.” DJ Khaled also won a Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration alongside John Legend and the late Nipsey Hussle for their 2019 collaboration “Higher” at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in January. Khaled also led a tribute performance to Hussle at the ceremony that included Legend, Meek Mill, Roddy Ricch, YG, and Kirk Franklin.

Drake’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes, which followed 2018’s Scorpion, ended his nine-album No. 1 streak on Billboard when it debuted at No. 2 behind Kenny Chesney’s Here and Now. The release, which he discussed on Lil Wayne’s Young Money Radio program on Apple Music shortly after its release, included the No. 1 single “Toosie Slide.”

This year, Drake also hopped on Lil Yachty’s new song “Oprah’s Bank Account” and teamed up with What a Time to Be Alive collaborator Future on “Life Is Good.”
