The Dalai Lama has released a new song called “One of My Favorite Prayers.” It’s the second offering from His Holiness’ first-ever album of teachings and mantras, Inner World, which arrives July 6 via Hitco Entertainment/Khandro Music. Listen to the Dalai Lama’s “One of My Favorite Prayers” below.
Inner World was the brainchild of co-executive producer Junelle Kunin, a student of the Dalai Lama who proposed the idea to him in 2015. “The very purpose of my life is to serve as much as I can,” the Dalai Lama said. “Music can help people in a way that I can’t.”
Proceeds from Inner World will benefit the Mind & Life Institute and Social, Emotional and Ethical Learning, an international education program developed by Emory University and the Dalai Lama.
