Listen to Charli XCX’s New Song “forever”

Charli XCX has shared the first track from her forthcoming album how i’m feeling now, which she’s making as she self-isolates during the COVID-19 pandemic. This one is “forever.” According to a press release, Charli wrote “forever” within the last two days and she co–executive produced the song with A. G. Cook and BJ Burton. Hear Charli XCX’s “Forever” below.

Charli XCX commissioned three single artworks for “forever.” One variant is by Seth Bogart (of Hunx and His Punks), another is from Caroline Polachek, and a third is by Regards Coupables. Charli said in a statement, “I’m such a fangirl of all three artists and to collaborate on artwork like this is a new experience for me. I like the idea that the visual language for this project can be interpreted by however someone feels towards the music. The music and the emotions that are generated guide the creative output and anything is possible.” Find the covers below.

Charli announced how i’m feeling now with a preview of “forever” on Monday (April 6), and she said she aims to have release the album on May 15. Her most recent full-length, Charli, came out last summer.
