They’ve put their spin on America’s “A Horse With No Name” for the soundtrack to the animated Netflix series

The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney and Michelle Branch have teamed up to cover America’s 1971 breakout single, “A Horse With No Name.” Listen below. Their new rendition appears on the forthcoming soundtrack for Netflix’s “BoJack Horseman.” BoJack Horseman (Music From the Netflix Original Series) is out digitally on September 8 via Lakeshore. Along with the America cover, the soundtrack includes Carney’s “BoJack‘s Theme,” Grouplove’s closing song for the show, original music by composer Jesse Novak, and more. “‘BoJack Horseman’ is such a unique and trail-blazing show that I am proud to be associated with as an artist and love to watch as fan of television,” Patrick Carney said in a statement. “It was life-long dream of mine to write a theme song for an animated horse who drinks too much and is constantly struggling with depression.” Season 4 of “BoJack Horseman” arrives September 8.
