Adrianne Lenker and drummer James Krivchenia discussed “Cattails,” from the band’s latest album U.F.O.F. “I was thinking about my great-grandma,” Lenker says about her lyrics. “She died when I was about 20.” Throughout the episode, they play fragments and excerpts from the song in different phases of its production and discuss its evolution.
