- "The It List" is Yahoo's weekly look at the best in pop culture. With the coronavirus pandemic in mind, here are our picks for the week of February 15. If you were making a TV show about a young Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, why not call it Pebble [RECORD SCRATCH] or something like Stone, eh?

Alas, NBC execs went with the simpler, more straightforward-- and in my opinion, inferior title-- of "Young Rock." The scripted comedy series delves into the childhood of the wrestler-turned-actor including his dad's real life legacy in the ring. And just like wrestling, there's plenty of drama.

- It's all fake, anyways. What happened?

- I did not raise-

- He is a-

- - Raise him like that

- - Special boy.

- The drama series "Queen Sugar" is returning for a fifth season and this time, it's covering all-too-familiar territory. The Ava DuVernay-created show is mirroring the terrifying reality of 2020 as the Bordelon family confronts the coronavirus pandemic and the Black Lives Matter protests sparked by the killing of George Floyd.

- No justice, no peace!

- We'll be stopped by the police, Blue.

- Why?

- Because you Black.

- Frances McDormand is back with another stellar performance in "Nomadland." The movie follows her character, Fern, a woman who lives out of her van and travels around the country working low-paying odd jobs. Not only does the film poke holes in the rosy idea of the American dream, it also portrays Fern's nomadic lifestyle as appealing and, at times, beautiful.

- My dad used to say, "What's remembered lives." I maybe spent too much of my life--

Fern!

--just remembering.

- Come back next week to check out Yahoo's "It List."
