- The It List is Yahoo's weekly look at the best in pop culture. With the coronavirus pandemic in mind, here are our picks for the week of April 5th. The CW's latest action-packed offering is "Kung Fu," a modern day adaptation of the '70s TV show starring David Carradine. This time around, the focus is on Nikki Chen, who opts not to go to law school and instead study martial arts at a Shaolin monastery.

Eventually, she puts her training to good use on the streets of San Francisco. But those aren't the only conflicts she's dealing with.

- You must find peace, peace with your family.

- Peace and my family don't really go together.

- In another case of family drama writer, Lena Waithe's new drama "Them" looks like a horrifying mix of "Get Out," "Candy Man," and "The Stepford Wives." The limited series centers on a Black family who moves to an all-white area of Los Angeles during the 1950s. In addition to some supernatural shenanigans at home, they also have to deal with some nasty neighbors.

- This is how it begins, with one family. They came from someplace worse.

- And rounding out the It List with a final show about a truly complicated family is the documentary "Future People, The Family of Donor 5114." The film follows a group of kids who share an unexpected bond, they were all conceived from the same mysterious sperm donor. The group explores their connections with one another and embarks on a quest to find their father.

- How do you not want to meet people you gave life to? How could that not mean something to you?

- Maybe he's just as nervous as we are.

- I have a request for a donor location for a number of 5114.

- Come back next week to check out Yahoo's It list.
