A-list actress confirms she dated Bachelor star Nick Viall after he 'slid' into her DMs

January Jones is finally addressing those Nick Viall dating rumors, two years after calling him merely "a friend."

The "Mad Men" actress revealed all on Monday's episode of Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard, explaining that the two did date -- albeit briefly -- in early 2018 after the "Bachelor" star sent her a message on Instagram five months after calling off his engagement to frontrunner Vanessa Grimaldi.

"It was good. All I did was grill him about the show," she said. "We went on a couple dates."

Their relationship first started after Jones snubbed the reality star while appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Late Show With James Corden.

"I was just blasting that guy," Jones told Shepard.

She continued:

"Nick slid into my DMs and he's like, 'I'm so sorry that your perception of me is no negative. I'd love to take you out to coffee and see if I can change your mind.'"

Although Jones says she "squealed" when she got the message, she was initially going to turn the invitation down, but her sister convinced her otherwise. Viall, who starred as the bachelor on the franchise's 21st season after appearing on two seasons of "The Bachelorette" and one season of "Bachelor in Paradise," showed a different side to Jones.

“The thing that attracted me to Nick was that he seemed — I mean, he was cast as the quote-unquote villain, but he had a bit of a brain, so there was something else there,” she said. “That’s all we were talking about, really. But I got a lot of juicy inside stuff.”

This isn't the first time the Bachelor world has seen some Hollywood crossover. After being rejected by bachelorette Hannah Brown, model Tyler Cameron was linked to Gigi Hadid, while bach contestant Mike Johnson was seen hanging out with Demi Lovato. Wells Adams, who appeared on the twelfth season of "The Bachelorette," is engaged to "Modern Family" actress Sarah Hyland.

And in December, it was rumored that Viall was dating Rachel Bilson, although "The O.C." star is confirmed to be in a relationship with Bill Hader.
